Zerah Yemilo Waminaje is the Political, Information and Culture Officer at the Nigeria High Commission in Kigali, a position she assumed in January 2025. She previously served at the ECOWAS National Unit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Desk Officer for Political Affairs, Peace and Security.
Her diplomatic experience includes postings at the Nigerian Embassy in Greece and within the Crisis Monitoring and Public Communications Division, as well as the Office of the Honourable Minister. She began her career in the Nigerian Foreign Service in 2017.
She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Democratic Politics and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration.
She is committed to promoting Nigeria’s interests through diplomacy, by building networks, cultivating partnerships and active engagement in both bilateral and multilateral forums.
