AUTHENTICATION OF DOCUMENT (NIGERIAN NATIONALS)
Requirements:
- Typed and signed formal application letter of request by the applicant, stating reason(s) for the request and addressed to the High Commissioner, Nigeria High Commission, Kigali, Rwanda. (Also include your email address, current address and telephone number, please).
- Photocopy of Applicant’s passport data page.
- Three (3) copies of document(s) to be authenticated.
- Receipt of payment of non-Refundable fee of Thirty Dollars USD ($30) to the Nigeria High Commission, Kigali – Rwanda:

Important Notice:
All documents intended for authentication at the High Commission must first be duly authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Applicants are therefore advised to ensure that their documents bear the official authentication stamp and signature of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, before submission to the High Commission.
Furthermore, all academic certificates must have been authenticated by both the Federal Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria before they can be accepted for processing at the High Commission.
