Requirements for Certificate of Singlehood
- Typed and signed formal application letter of request by the applicant, stating reason(s) for the request and addressed to the High Commissioner, Nigeria High Commission, Kigali, Rwanda. (include your email address, current address and telephone number, please)
- Photocopy of passport data page of applicant
- Birth certificate of the applicant
- Attestation letter from the parents of the applicants
- Photocopy of the passport data page of applicant’s parents
- Attestation letter from four (4) persons that have known the applicant for not less than five (5) years.
- Photocopy of the passport data page of the attestators.
- Letter from applicant’s parent in-laws attesting to knowing the applicant.
- Photocopy of the passport data page of the parent in-laws
- Letter of consent from intending spouse
- Receipt of payment of non-Refundable fee of Thirty Dollars USD ($30) to the Nigeria High Commission, Rwanda:
